Head coach of Turkmenistan team Bairamdurdy Durdyev:

– What to say, the team played very weak. Too many efforts were given to previous matches. However the schedule is not an excuse – all the teams are in the same conditions. In addition, two our players were sent off so finally only nine were left to play. Well, my players are not ready to play in a full strength for a long period. Now I can admit that we were wrong, when made a bet on a draw with Russia. I see that you have noticed an emotional guiding of our entire coaching staff during the game. That's our mentality. Everyone wants to make a give a piece of advice. Personally I do not object to it. If my assistant sees something that I do not notice and gives suggestions – it is only a benefit. I did not let my son play today because he is not fully recovered from his injury.

– Today we played more efficiently. Finally we have managed to take control under the second zone (note – center of the pitch). It turned out that Turkmen footballers themselves helped us. Today they were not moving active enough. It was clear they were tired after the match against Russia. And even then our problems were more visible. Well, firstly, we miss free kicks. Secondly, again the lack of forwards made situation even worse. You could see, Rustamov showed how to score, but he is a midfielder! All in all, I am happy that we won. Though, Turkmenistan is still a serious opponent for us.
