Opening Ceremony

The XXIII International Football Tournament Commonwealth Cup held the Opening Ceremony attended by the FIFA President Joseph Blatter, Russian Minister of Sports Vitaly Mutko, and FUR President Nikolai Tolstykh. A spectacular entrance was accompanied by an introduction of the participating teams on the big screens and greeting speeches of the tournament’s honoured guests. Then Joseph Blatter was given the exclusive right of the first kick. The FIFA President exercised his special duty in quite an original way, making a pass for a strike to the Russian Minister of Sport.

The ball guided home, the competitions were announced open.
